Dave sounds like a very lucky guy. Bit like Fiona my other half really! Will look out for a lovely blonde lady with a guy with a smile on his face.

Tracy Many thanks sounds as though you had a good time. I am sure we will too! A little bit of sunshine is far more than we have had in the UK this year. Thanks for the advice. Not sure about the umbrella though - may leave that to the wife and daughter! My hairstyle (or lack of it) is beyond damage.

We have not been to Oasis not really sure where it is - unable to find a map of Roda anywhere. We stayed at The Aphrodite last year.

its on the main road past the pegasus on the right hand side going out of roda towards sidari but thers's no pavement and plenty of traffic don't know how long it takes to walk for someone a wee bit slower like me.We usually stay right in the village so don't usually have to worry about distance.

We're working on the map - will publish it as soon as possible.
Oasis is not the closest place to the Village - without checking, it is about a 4 minute stroll from the crossroads on the main road, and then a short walk to the centre & the beach.
It is always difficult to advise as a 4 minute stroll for one can be a marathon for another. We believe there is a short cut through Paradise Village but we have never used that route. Perhaps Lynda, or someone else who has can advise you.
This kind of information is vital for a village that attracts many visitors with impaired mobility, and we are making it a priority on the new website. Within the next few weeks we will be in a position to pinpoint all of Roda's accommodation on a readable map with accurate distances. As far as we know, no such map exists at the moment and we accept that travel companies either don't know, or are economical with the facts.
If we can help further - please ask.
Steve
