With just one week to go, but not wishing to count the chickens before they hatch, it is looking really good for the Corfu Donkey Rescue as they maintain their huge lead of some 1244 votes, overall commanding a 54% lead. This is all down to you folks and your good will in placing your votes for the CDR. I am sure Judy Quinn and her team at the CDR are very appreciative of all your votes. If you know of anyone () who has not voted, then please get them to vote.
Yeiamas, Chris
PS: Cheers Steve and Julie for the Click the Donkey

More votes, more lead, dare we say it yet. I would like to, but one never knows with voting. So to be sure, make sure your friends, families, work mates, who have not voted, do get their votes in by next Sunday. Corfu Donkey Rescue now as a lead of 1268 votes, still commanding a 54% of all the votes that have come in. Well done to all.

It is really, with fingers still crossed, a matter of course now for the Corfu Donkey Rescue to see the next 6 days out, to lay claim to the €1000. And deservedly so. However, this would not have happened without the support of the CDR and from such people as yourselves who have looked on the forums and given up your votes. There is still time for a few last pushes to maintain that lead 1302 (54% overall).

As the voting draws to an end, only five days remaining, it looks more and more good for the Corfu Donkey Rescue of being out in front all the way, and deservedly so. I for one cannot wait until Sunday/Monday and see it official. So keep them coming in if your reading this and have not voted as yet. They all count, and as you see everyday lots of people out their are voting still for the CDR.

It is great to see more and more votes coming in for the Corfu Donkey Rescue, but even I wonder where they come from, 30 - 50 on a daily basis. It is great on the other hand that the message is still getting out there to you all which is all helping the CDR to win that much need money for the service they provide and help them build up their site. Keep them coming in. CDR now as a lead of 1355 votes.

Sirus, also known as Bear, was destined for the meat market in Italy. We took her in at the last minute. She has difficulty getting up in the mornings due to an old injury in her pelvis. She also has arthritis in one knee. With daily medication and care she is up and running very quickly. Once on her feet, nothing stops her from enjoying life to the full.

The voting scores continue to rise in favour of the Corfu Donkey Rescue, still averaging around the 50 marke on a daily basis, which is keeping the CDR that little bit further ahead each day. The message is still getting through to many, who obviously are aware that the CDR needs to win to reep the benefits of that money. So if you know of anyone who has not voted, get them on to your PC and let them vote. Keep them coming in.

The Corfu Donkey Rescue continues to leap forward gaining more and more votes which now gives them a lead of 1406 votes altogether which is 55% of the voting. With approximately 48 hours left, and we see the Status change from open to gesloten (closed), then we can relax, and cheer the CDR.

With 24 hours to go, or there abouts, it looks really good for the Corfu Donkey Rescue, out there in the front with a lead of 1415 votes, taking 55% of the takings. Looking forward to seeing the final figures. A BIG thanks to everyone for giving in your votes, and all the votes from family, friends and workmate. The CDR will be unduly grateful for all your efforts.

By my reckoning, this should be the last review of the voting before closure, which I am presuming will be midnight. If I am not about at midnight, I will check it out in the morning. Anyway, I think it is safe to say, with 1420 lead between 1st and 2nd place, it is as good as in the bag.

The link to the Pavo voting page has been removed. There is a notification on the page which loosely translated means, "YOU have insufficient rights this examine source. YOU must log in." However, I cannot log in for some reason, or register. I am hoping the final figures will be published.

The score boards were removed from the Voting site this morning, so I am unable to give you the real last figures of the poll. However, rest assured, this morning the Corfu Donkey Rescue was still out in front by a large margin. I have heard nothing from the Pavo site, or the CDR as to any claim, or announed winners as yet. If and when I do, I will let you all know. The lead was still in excess of 1400 votes. Thanks for all your votes, and interest in the Corfu Donkey Rescue.

Strangely enough, Chris and everyone else, the voting results table, featured on the Roda Reports page, is still displaying as "open". What's more strange is that CDR increased by 1 vote overnight Not sure how this happened as the links to vote have now gone. May be today we'll get some notification. Julie

I received an email from Judy Quinn this morning, firstly thanking every one for their support and votes towards the Corfu Donkey Rescue. She had been advised by those in the know that the results will be published at the end of the week on the same link. I shall keep my eye open for them, to which I will publish on this forum.
From Judy Quinn, Thank you all.
