I have been following the Easyjet Bookings since they came out earlier. I have stuck to a mid June flight for my example, and if you look in the original Easyjet thread (cannot find it at this time) you will see that they rise quite rapidly. This is normally due to the number of seats sold. The more that goes, the more the price rises. This is a true meaning of who gets there first gets the cheapest.
Initially, Bristol to Corfu was around £84 each, now it is £233 each.

it just seems a massive increase so early , we booked aroun march/april last year and got the flights for £168 1st checked in feb was around £140 also had a quick look the day before we left and prices £210 so around a £50-70 price increase within 3 or so months compared to now (09) almost £100 increase within weeks. I also think its down to the airport aswell as like you say the amount of people booking . we will hope to book flights within next week or so hopefully?? but like alot this year everything will be alot more expsensive, total holiday last june cost us £240 each and around £260 in spetember (excluding hols ££) estimates for this year £280-300 based on flight prices as of 26 jan but all could change within days.
its also ashame easyjet have got an ealy slot for the return journeys this year 11-45am of course means a days or even a few hours in roda is lost aswell as the 1-2am start on route to gatwick . anyways enough of my waffle and hopefully ill be able to post ASAP the dates on "when well be there"

Anyway, two days later with dates set (for September) I looked again and the prices had doubled on the first leg from Corfu to Manchester. Last year, when the route first went live, the same increase happened but after a week or so, there was a drop, as high interest can also stimulate the prices to increase. I had hoped for the same but so far, the price has remained stubbornly high. Now faced with the dilemma, do I book at the higher proce only to find that it does drop slightly again afterall? I guess we'll decide once we are back in Roda.
