The Red Chilli opened last night with a free invite to a small taste of their food and a glass of wine. Whilst lacking a bit in PR and not showing us their full menu the barghis with dips were very tasty, the chicken curry mild as was to please all and the rice nicely cooked. On our table we tried both red and white wine and they were both nice - the usual box wines used my many as a house wine. The owners are those who run the established Indian Restaurant in Gouvia so we can expect a good menu and a good stanard of cuisine. They plan to be open all year round and in the winter months open all week. Many have wished for a good Indian Restaurant in the North of the Island, we now have one in Roda, on the main road in on the left. I am sure it will be a success and look forward to visiting later in the year to have a full meal. Attachments:
