I always feel sad at this time of the year, as another summer dies and I have to wait another 7 months when I will be in my beloved Roda again.Thank you for your input to this forum, please keep up the good work.

We were counting on Ammos to be open still when we get back Dave - we'll just have to get our souvlaki somewhere else! See you soon ...

Now Petrinos is closed, so too the Afrodite and several other hotels and apartments.
I am hearing La Luz are thinking of staying open over winter, but we will have to wait and see.

The plan was always for inside of La Luz to stay open in the winter, but we will have to wait and see if they get the support. There is still plenty open in the village, with Coffee Corner, Pixida & Tropicana all at the crossroads, Drosia, Roda Park & Nikos all serving, Dimitri's grill room, Oscars, Drunken Sailor, Rialto & Nemo on the main beach road, and Skouna, Roxannes, Dolphin, La Luz, Pirates' Bar & Alexandros along the seafront. There were also three or four travel shops still going as we walked around last night.

Just to confirm, Crusoes has closed, as has the Boathouse.
As Steve says plenty open. I went to Drosia last night and food good as ever with such large portions.
At Acharavi there were 6 beach bars open this afternoon, some of which will be open evening as well, and then Maistro is open from 5pm until midnight. So it still worth a stroll along the beach.
