Hi Everyone Just registerd to this forum as I will be making my first trip to Corfu and Roda in September - staying at Theodoras. Could anyone give me any info on bus services to nearby places? I've also read that there are travel shops where you can book boat trips, do they still run in September? Any info is welcome - Just love Greece and her Islands, and look forward to seeing what Corfu has to offer. Love the beach too, I've read mixed reviews regarding the beach so really not sure what to expect. Many thanks in advance

Many thanks in advance There is a bus service from the village to Corfu Town and along the north to Sidari and Kassiopi, and all stops between. There are several tour companies in the village who are generally cheaper than the tours sold by the holiday reps. Just remember the cheapest price may not be the best. But there are tours to suit all tasteses from boat trips, island visits and cultural ones. If you come to one of our FGT's when you are here we will be more than happy to help you Jan

Morning Jan Thank you, that's really helpful - My dad likes to go on a boat trip so I'm sure we will find something to suit and make use of the bus to visit nearby villages too. Many thanks for your reply Sun I like the lazy day cruise as it gives you a lovely trip down the east coast and a chance to swim from the boat, There are also day and night boat trips to Corfu Town as well. If you want you can also knock off a couple more islands and take a trip to Paxos and Antipaxos, or go to Parga on the mainland. If you like walking you can walk up to Sfakera, about a kilometer out of Roda and sample the food at the little Kafe Neon there. Just a few of the trips on offer. Jan
