We have been considering buying land/property for some time in Roda, with a view to building or renovating over the next few years for a holiday/retirement base. To be honest, at this time we have kind of put a hold on things due to the worry of what the situation will be post Brexit.... Any thoughts? People obviously used to move to various parts of Europe pre EU, so I'm sure there will be some provision... I'm thinking that it maybe down to poss problems with hospitals ( may have to go private, Insurance etc ) and of course if you were working some problems... but other than that? Many thanks

A lot depends on agreements between UK and Greek governments following Brexit. However, Greece has a shrinking, aging population and there are many expats, but mainly British especially on the Islands, and the Greek ecomony would take a massive hit without them here.

Yes, I thought the same I have to say, a bit like cutting your nose off to spite your face kicking the Brits out... If it were up to the Germans possibly, but I have heard it may possibly be left to the individual Countrys... Mind you Greece, Holland, France and a few others may have followed the Brexit route by the times it's complete, so may just be a free for all :-)
