We were at the Theodoros resort of a quick drink on the way home when Theo came across to talk to us. He was very excited about the plans for the complex for next season. We were given a guided tour of the new 'superior' bungalow he finished this year. The two maisonettes next door are scheduled to be upgraded to the same standard this winter, completing that whole block. The new block beside Fiona is also included in the 'superior' label. The older block, at right angles to the maisonettes and the new bungalow, will be getting new doors and windows as a welcome interim upgrade. The 'superior' rooms will be marketed as such by only Thomas Cook next year. In fact all the accommodation that form that part of the Theodoros Resort excluding the Fiona block will all be with Thomas Cook. The Fiona block will continue to be marketed by Olympic Holidays. Theo thinks that by using two travel operators he will get a higher rate of occupation. The breakdown is the Fiona block have 78 beds, the remaining 122 beds will be with Thomas Cook. Giving the Theodoros Resort having a total capacity of 200 beds. Theo works hard ensuring that Theodoros Resort is always being being updated and improved.

Couldn't agree more there are always improvements being made every year which makes this, in my opinion, one of the best if not the best places to stay in Roda can't wait to be back next year we will, hopefully, be staying in the Fiona apartments again x

Here are some pictures of the new superior apartment at the Theodoros Resort. Both bedrooms look the same and have wardrobes and dressing tables in the same style. The little details are there, from hairdryers to flat screen TV's.

Wow! What an improvement - Theo really knows his onions! It can truly be described as "superior" to almost all the places we have stayed in Roda. Well done Theo.

Hello, I love Roda and have been a few times over the years (from the age of 5!) most recently last year @ the Roda Beach. I have had a really rough few years and got through it thanks to my folks and would like to take them back to Roda next year (around September). I have noticed that the prices have gone up substantially (like-for-like the Roda Beach is up £400pp for a fortnight). I love the look of the Theodorus, and from what I am told I use to cause havoc in their pool as a kid.
So, can I book direct with them saving a few £, or can you only book through the travel agencies? If you can book direct, does anybody have an email address? Thanks.

Theodoros is only available privately at the very beginning or end of the season. Other than that, it’s either Thomas Cook or Olympic Holidays. If you do want to contact Theo directly, Facebook is the only reliable way to go.

Try Olympic Holidays on the hotel only option (back one of the three) in the new year as you may well be surprised at the accommodation only price, then pick up a cheap flight. Janimou

Janimou Thanks, Olympic holidays price has gone down quite a bit since the first time I checked - but that is flying Small Planet which I am told are either very good or shocking depending on your luck! I am pretty sure I will be booking for early-September 2017... the question is, however, will I be able to survive two weeks with the parents?

Make sure you spell Theodoros correctly, Chris, as many people don’t. I believe it is under 'Theodoros Resort.’
