Hi, I will be going on my own then and have done a few times. As a lady you may be apprehensive but please do not be so; there are many just like you and they are all safe in the tavernas of an evening; the waiters will make sure you are looked after and safe. You may well meet people in your apartments or even in Tavernas to arrange to go out with later on your holiday. Where I used to stay in Sidari there was a lady who used to visit 4 times a year, always alone; she made so many friends over time, both locals and tourists she was never short of company if she wanted any. Sadly she has passed but she was a great example that you should not let being alone put you off doing what you wish to do when on holiday. Have a great trip; may be pop to a forum get together when you are there to say hello to other forum members.

Hi Sara, as Davey says you will be fine, there are lots of single ladies who come here year after year, one of our members (Kaz) has been coming on her own for quite a few years now with no problems whatsoever, you're more than welcome to join the wife & I at Oscar's, Crusoes or Big Ben's any time we are out, to get you in the mood I've put you on our list of visitors for next summer! If you look at the list there are already quite a few regulars coming at the same time as yourself, all of them will make you more than welcome. pete.

Hi Sara, don't be worried. I holiday for many years in Roda by myself, once the children got too old to drag along with me. Valentinos is placed a little away from the village so it is a little quieter. It has a small bar where I am sure that you will soon make friends. All the bars and restaurants are single lady friendly even in the evening. I would recommend The Boat House which is very close to Valentinos for a lovely chilled out bar with lovely views. Come to one of our Wednesday get togethers and we will be more than happy to point you towards the best bars and restaurants. But most of all enjoy yourself

Great time to come on your own - seems to be swimming with form members at that time of year. I'm there 20th June - 4th July. More than welcome to joing us at anytime. There's a crowd of us going at the same time - staying at Makis, so if you're fancying daytime company, you know where to find us. x x

Hi Sara we are planning to be in Roda from 13th June to 27th so will overlap with you, my husband's sister is planning to come over with us this year as well so you are more than welcome to join us any time you like (I'm sure Michelle will be glad of a break from us 2). We (hopefully) will be staying at Theo's again and are usually to be found in Crusoes at some stage in the night and definately if there is any football on! We met a lady in Big Ben bar 2 years ago and she holidays for about 8 weeks on her own in Roda at that time of the year and then goes back in August for a few more weeks and knows everyone so I am sure you will be fine. Hopefully see you there x
