Good morning from Roda. It is lovely today. We have cloudless blue skies with a chill in the air which should disappear as the sun warms up. There is no breeze to add to any chills. Albania is startlingly clear across the water, which is still a bit choppy. Although the photo doesn't show it there is a dusting of snow on the far peaks. Our mountains are still a bit hazy even though the humidity has fallen. Yesterday was a bit mixed. It was very bracing as we walked to Acharavi with large waves crashing on the shore, but we had the wind behind us. By the time we were walking back the wind had changed direction so it was less in our face now coming off the sea. The waves were larger, and the clouds were very black over Albania towards Saranda. We started walking faster, but the rain started just before we got back to our apartment. The rain didn't last long and the sun came out, and there was a pleasant starlit night with a few clouds but still quite mild. Just a bit of fun, we have often wondered what the notes would be as the birds perch on the wires behind the house. Now we have an idea. Oops will try again. The readings at 10am on 14th. January 2016 are:- Temperature 10.4°C and humidity 67% Yesterday's maximum temperature was 16.3°C and the minimum was 10.8°C The maximum humidity was 74% and the minimum 59%
The reported UV for today is 1 (Range 1- 11)

Good afternoon from Roda. This morning we had grey skies and only a slight breeze. Albania was absent and our hill and mountains were shrouded with clouds. It was a very mild night. It has stayed cloudy with the odd mizzle, slightly windy but very mild. Yesterday started off lovely, but the clouds built up during the afternoon to give us some light rain late at night. It must have continued on and off all night as the paths were wet this morning. Though to be fair some towels I had left out were almost dry because of the wind.
The readings at 10am on 15th. January 2016 are:- Temperature 13.5°C and humidity 73% Yesterday's maximum temperature was 14.1°C and the minimum was 6.6°C The maximum humidity was 69% and the minimum 59%
The reported UV for today is 1 (Range 1- 11)

Good morning from Roda. We awoke to heavy clouds and rain. The visibility is poor but it is mild and there is no wind. There must have been a lot of rain during the night as there are large soggy parts in the garden and the ditches are full. Yesterday, though overcast, wasn't as bad as had been forecast. We got to Acharavi and back without much in the way of rain. The sea was calm with long floppy waves slapping onto the beach and stiriing the pebbles. We will miss that sound. It stayed damp and drizzly for the rest of the night. The only good factor was that it was very mild and calm. So all in all not much to write about.
The readings at 10am on 16th January 2016 are: Temperature 12.0°C and humidity 83%
Yesterday's maximum temperature was 15.7°C and the minimum was 10.8°C The maximum humidity was 79% and the minimum 69% The reported UV for today is 1 ( Range 1- 11)

My little weather ticker on Outlook today shows me it has reached 71f in Corfu and expected to be around 70f rest of week. When I'm removing thick frost off my car in the morning and with the prospect of snow overnight Wednesday I will think of Corfu and hope they have these lovely temperatures next February when I will be living there. Picnic on the beach anyone?

We were playing boules on the beach this Christmas Eve in Roda as we were last Christmas Eve (my 60th birthday). Has been lovely the last two years. The weather this winter has been so mild it is unbelievable. Normally expect copious rain late January, February but there has been very little this year.
