I have bought a weather monitoring unit, so I will be putting the local temperature and humidity on this forum, together with the maximum and minimum temperatures from the previous day. I will try and do this at about the same time every morning and in the same format. I will also give a general idea of the weather for that day. The weather monitor has been carefully placed in the shade about 1.5m from the floor of out balcony away from winds as much as possible. I hope this will prove to be interesting and informative for visitors to Roda. Eventually I will have gathered a full year of data which should provide a basis for helping visitors when to come to our lovely resort. I will be grateful for any feedback or suggestions.

It is still sunny today in Roda, but we have increased cloud and a wind from the south has sprung up. However it looks like it is going to be another lovely day. The temperatures recorded don't take into account how very hot it is in the sun, with there being a very noticeable difference between sun and shade. Today's readings at 9.40am are:-
Temperature 18.2oC Humidity 61% Yesterday's Maximum 20.9oC Minimum 10.9oC

Good morning everyone. It is another sunny day here in Roda with clear blue skies and very little wind. Albania is just about visible across the Corfu Channel and the sea looks calm. Yesterday was sunny all day but a strong wind developed from the north which made it chilly unless you got shelter. The sea built up and I could hear it pounding on the beach from our apartment.
Today's readings at 9.45 am for 21 April are:- Temperature 15.5oC and Humidity 62% Yesterday's Maximum temperature was 17.9oC and Minimum 13.2oC The Maximum humidity was 72% and the Minimum 52%.

It has dawned another sunny day with clear skies and a gentle breeze, Albania is still hazy across the sea, and the hills of Corfu behind us are slightly misty. Yesterday afternoon the winds got up which made it feel cold if out in them, and the sea became full of white horses. Ideal weather for a few wind surfers darting across the bay. Today's readings at 9.50am are:-
Temperature 16.3oC Humidity 70% Yesterday's Maximum temperature was 18.2oC and Minimum Temperature 10.9oC The Maximum Humidity was 64% and the Minimum 54%

The weather continues to be good. Today we awoke to sunshine, a lovely blue sky with high cloud. The mist has eased, so Albania and the hills of Corfu are clearer. There is a slight breeze, and the sea is calmer. Yesterday the wind got up in the afternoon and was quite strong, giving lots of waves, but had completely died down by mid evening.
Today's readings at 9.50am are:- Temperature 16.4oC and Humidity 63% Yesterday's maximum temperature was 19.5oC, the minimum 12.6oC and maximum humidity 71% and the minimum 51%

if you carry on being this professional, Carol on the BBC weather will have to watch out! Thank you, but I am very amateur (don't think Carol is in any danger), just reporting what I see and the readings from our weather station. I am hoping to get a anemometer for reading wind speed when next in UK. I hope that people are liking knowing what the weather is like here even though I am only giving the bare facts. If you are in the middle of the village away from the sea it will appear much warmer, and the sun is quite fierce, we have seen some of the few visitors with sunburn.
