It's not changed too much. Think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
When was the last time you were there?

We were just talking about a restaurant, but we can't remember the name of it. If you walk out of oscars and turn right, it's down the bottom on the same side. I had a beer in their a couple of times, the owner was delightful, and their were canaries singing in cages. I seem to remember it being green and red in colour.with specials boards outside. What's the food like?

Chrissa, I've been going for 20 years & most of the old faces are still there, with some new one thrown in for good measure.

Yes it was formerly Odysseus but is now under new ownership/management and called Petrino Steki as Jacks says above.

Has anyone tried the food there? It looked a lovely restaurant, but we didn't have time to try it in a week. I just remember having a couple of beers while the wife explored the souvineir shops opposite. My idea of hell!!!

Go! Get the special chicken kebab. Chicken & onion bbq'd, wrapped in bacon, some Tzatziki & pitta and veggies & chips, potatoes or rice. One my my faves.
Never had a bad meal - that's not all I've eaten there, btw. Tried lots of different things & never been disappointed.

Jacks, that's just cruel!!! I'm sitting at work, dreaming about my holiday in 9 days time, and I've forgotten my sandwiches !!! LOL. We will put that on the list then.

Haha! It is delish. I think possibly on a Saturday (they did previously) they do lamb on the spit. Will be advertised on the boards outside. Teo is a lovely man. He'll come along to the Makis Apts for a couple of drinks with us, after work sometimes. Him & Makis are good friends.

If you are going down the beach road to the sea....it is the Last Taverna on the right... Afroditi pool is next.

The one right on the corner? I have noted that and checked it out on the map!
