Hi all,
Will be staying at the Roda Oasis last week July, first week of August. We are a party of 8 - two families of 4, 2 kids per family ranging from 11 to 14 (14 year old will be 15 when we leave as she celebrates her birthday over there).
We are newbies to Roda and Corfu, but are Greek regulars (Koutouloufari on Crete and Alykes on Zakynthos most recently).
Thanks for the informative forum!

Welcome to the forum Ian - if there is anything you need to know just speak up - one of us will usually be able to help. Im sure you will catch the Roda bug - we all suffer from it and the only cure is to go back every year.
regards, Kath

Hi Tracey & welcome to the forum. The transfer from the airport can take up to 2.5 hours if you're on a large coach with lots of drop offs, in a taxi it takes about 45 minutes. There are 2 ATMS in the village, one next to Loft Car Hire on the main road leading to the beach and one next to Pirate's Bar on the beach front. Feel free to ask any questions that you might have, one of us on here will have the answer. pete.

Hi Pete and thanks for the info! I'm hoping I it doesn't take that long, it states 1 hr transfer time but after reading the reviews on trip advisor some people had said different which is why I asked.Thats nice to know about the cash machines at least we don't have to bring all cash. Can't wait exactly 7 wks today , not that I'm counting lol! ?

Last year when we went to Roda the transfer took about 2 hrs by coach and we were dropped off about 200yds from our accomodation at 1.30am and had to walk the rest of the way. Arranging to be met by Roda taxis' booked in advance is worth the cost €50

As kernowman says, the only guaranteed way to be in Roda quickly is a local taxi. Tour companies and certain transfer businesses do try to consolidate customers meaning that transfer timescan be extended. Only you can make the choice ...

Hi Kernowman Just a thought do you intend to be hiring a car for the duration of your holiday if so why not contact either Jackie or Peggy at info@nsk-travel.gr they will arrange a car left at the airport car park and you leave it at the car park on your return home. we do it every year Just a thought.
