Thank you Steve - it's good to know that first-time visitors to Roda find it every bit enjoyable as those who have been coming here for centuries! Get to know the villagers themselves, and you'll always return. Has anyone from Roda ever drunk the water from the Kardaki Spring in Corfu Town? Allegedly, you drink once from the spring and you will always return. Perhaps we need a magic fountain in the village and we can start a new tradition. Hope you and Linda are OK now & we look forward to seeing you again in August. Steve

What a wonderful idea, Petra; the response it has generated will inspire us to reach for greater heights. Julie hasn't read your replies yet, but she will soon. We will be offline again tomorrow and back on Saturday.
Many Thanks Steve

Thanks Jean - in the absence of any 'hard facts' about Roda, we'll just have to make something up, based on gossip, of course! Sorry to let you down, Jean, but the 'pink dress' is just a figment of Nikki's fantasy such an imagination, that girl ;D ;D ;D (..it's green!) Steve xxxxx

We don't need a magic fountain in Roda because it's Roda itself that is magic. That's why we keep coming back. JackieM
