Also from me.......have a safe journey. We will miss your updates, but at least we can all keep in touch via this site.
......as Gail said, do wrap up warm. We are covered in inches of snow here today. 2 of the schools that my Grandchildren attend are closed.......everything comes to a standstill here when it snows......crazy, but the kiddies love it, have already got a snowman in my back garden!!!
Take care xx

A safe journey for both of you. Yes, do wrap up well, there is a distinct bite in the air, and it is getting worse. Hight winds, rain and/or sleet on the South and South East Coasts.
Keep in touch during your visit. Have a great break.
Yeiamas, Chris

I would like to wish you both also a Kalo taxidi, "goede reis" in dutch. At the moment overhere,we have the sun shining and a clearblue sky, but the forecast is :snow. I hope you were able to finish all your christmas cards in time julie. I will send you one of mine (I made a few years ago) soon, I hope the english postal service doesn't take that long to deliver a card as the greek one. We'll stay in touch through the forum . Have a nice (christmas) time in the UK ! greetings from holland.

Thanks Pete - and everyone else as well. It's 13:00 & we haven't even started packing yet. The dog knows that something is going down, she's starting to sulk. We will hopefully be online briefly sometime on Thursday and we will update you about the cricket and the fundraiser as soon as we can - probably next weekend.

Thanks Kelly, but hopefully our dog - ;DPetra ;D - will be OK. Technically speaking, she is not ours - Our landlady lives upstairs, her daughter went back to Athens, & we were asked if we would look after Petra when we are here. Like most Greek dogs, she sleeps outside, so we've found an old wooden pallet for her, covered it with cardboard, laid a rug on it, and surrounded it with things to keep off the wind. It's all on our balcony where it is mostly undercover. I'm sure she will be looked after while we are away - but we will miss her very much.

Hope you have a great journey! As the others have said, wrap up well. We've had no snow, here - lots of surrounding areas have - as yet. But seemingly it's blizzards on Thursday @ morning rush hour! Oh, happy days, eh? lol

Thanks jacks, unfortunately, by some strange twist, we forgot to pack our ski gear! We are a bit worried by all of your warnings, perhaps we should do the sensible thing and cancel our journey. ;D
