My daughter and her family (2 adults and 2 fare paying kids) have just returned from holidaying here in Roda, they had a great time as usual and are looking to return next year. So far they have booked independently, but I thought I would have a look at packages for mid May next year. Well, using Edinburgh they would be paying approx. £520 each for two weeks Kosmas or Theos, if they chose Manchester they would be paying £380 approx., a difference of £560 for the family. Also the online booking was saying only 1 room left at each apartment, I don't think so! In May this year they got the whole family out, flying from Edinburgh, for not much more than the cost of one person and certainly less than the cost of two booking a package, by doing it independently. Looking at distances involved, and fuel cost it should cost £12 per person to fly from Edinburgh rather than Manchester. Gives some perspective!

I've been bombarding Easyjet's FB page about them not having a Scottish route & the fact I have to fly with their rivals Jet2 & Ryanair. May just annoy them, but I don't care! lol It's disgusting the lack of routes & the cost.

We booked via Olympic for Kosmas for next August - we live in Bedfordshire but to fly from Luton it would cost us around £500 more rather than Gatwick! Guess where we are flying from. As a laugh i called into the local THomson holiday shop and they priced up the same holiday for me from Gatwick and tried to convince me what a great deal they could do me (well providing I didnt know how much we had actually booked for, it was in the region of 250 - 300 more than we are paying)
At least its not just scotland!
