That corner of the building above Jon's balcony would be the perfect place for a traditional British bar sign, Pete - any suggestions what it should be? "The Sign of the Swinging .... "??
That whole area is one of the smartest in Roda now, and Makris has also continued his wall all the way around from the bridge to Lola's house.

Just curious why would it be perfect for a for a British bar sign, and not a Greek one ?

Nothing at all complicated, John .... it ocurred to me that an 'Admiral Benbow' type of sign, creaking on a dark evening in the winter gales, with soft lights and a warm welcome inside, created quite an evocative scenario. Most bar signs here are painted on to wooden boards and fixed directly to the walls which I'm sure is what Jon & Michelle will do ... perhaps.

The 'Happy Drinker' and 'The Ship' could well be appropriate, Tony - what about 'Jon's Tavern', 'The Frog & Toad', 'Travellers' Rest', or, in recognition of Noodle, 'The Dog House?'

Steve/Pete - Has the name of the bar been announced or decided yet?
