Michelle had said that she hoped the bar would be up & open sometime in August - any ideas of a proper date, as yet?
How's the work coming along in it? Was looking good, even when we were there in June.

They were varnishing the floor a couple of days ago, Jackie - got drunk on the fumes as I walked past!

Michelle said last night that they hoped to be open in a couple of weeks but like everything over here they were being delayed because of paperwork, yesterday all the brickwork was treated to clean it up, seal it and bring out the best of the colours. pete.

Hope it is open by the time we arrive in Roda ( 26/08) - Looking forward to trying it out - purely in research interests for the Forum members you understand!

Hope you recovered well from the fumes, Steve! lol
Hope the paperwork is sorted out for them soon. It's going to be a lovely place to go, when it's opened. Can't wait to see it, in October.
You WILL have to do the research for us, David - even though I know how difficult it'll be for you, to have to go have a beer.

Was hoping it would be open for the 19th. It would be great for Keith to have somewhere to stop off in between Eftichia, The Brandy Shop and the village....as he's not too good on his pins.

I spoke to John as he was finishing up for the day last night & it still looks like about 2 weeks time, that should be ok for you & Keith Jean. pete.

If you're head over the East bridge & turn left at the Makris, going round toward Spiros Banos etc. They have repaved at the edge of the water. Was looking lovely when I was there in June.
