Does anyone know if there's any truth in the rumour that they may be going under. If I don't get to Roda I don't know what I'll do :-(

Nothing on the internet about any financial difficulties. The only thing that is common with all the internet traffic is about delays especially to and from Gatwick. If i hear or see anything i will let you know, BR Malc

Hoping this airline doesn't let us down tomorrow and we're back in Roda around evening time. Can't wait!!

"Small Planet" is the contracted carrier for Olympic Holidays.
Simply put; they are running all the scheduled flights with one aircraft of the fleet 'unavailable'.
This obviously creates numerous problems and delays (I know, I flew out with them, and am due to return on one of their flights tomorrow night).
We had approx. 5-6 hours delay on flight out, and are fully expecting similar problems on return flight!!!
If you contact Olympic Customer Services, they always say that flight problems are being resolved and YOU should not expect any delays - but this is false; they usually already know of the flights which are likely to be delayed, but will not tell you until you arrive at the airport - when they will tell you there is a 2 hour delay, which will gradually increase over time to 3hrs, 5hrs. or even more!
I understand that these delays are more prevalent in the South - particularly Gatwick.
Sorry to be the harbinger of such bad news, but it is best you are prepared for the worst, then may be pleasantly surprised if it turns out to be not too bad!
Rgds, Chris

We flew back with thomsons on the 12th and whilst in departures heard that the Bournemouth flight which should have arrived in Corfu at 12 midday had not even left Bournemouth we boarded at 1.45pm and they announced for all passengers flying to B with Small Planet to assemble at the café for more refreshments so god knows what time they got away.
