For anyone who is interested, Mike and Vera, who have run Cosmic travel in Kassiopi for the last 10 years or so do transfers from Roda, Acharavi and Sidari to Kassi for their boat trips. They have a website - kassiopi-cosmic.com and you can email or 'phone them (in the season) to arrange pick-ups. I asked Vera the other day in light of George and Helen retiring and Jacks asking about boat trips as I thought I remembered being told they did transfers. They do. Just thought I would post as although it isn't my thing, I know lots of people like to go on sea trips.

Boat Trips ? Well, what kind of boat trip would you like? The gentle sail down to Corfu town of an evening for some shopping/sightseeing ? A day trip with a bar-b ? Take a boat out on your own, with family and perhaps a few friends ? A longer cruise to Paxos/ Pargi ? Decisions, decisions!!! Whatever you you decide on, Corfu is surrounded by some of the most beautiful sea in the world. Don't keep your feet on the ground, let them move to the gentle (and sometimes not so gentle ) rhythm of the water that surrounds us. If I can help, PM, E mail, or where I live in Scotland, carrier pidgeon ( if I don't shoot it and eat it ), I'll get back to you ASAP Johno

Jacks !! As a ''Bankie'' you surprise me !! You know darn well it's dark o'clock most of the time now, so what use are smoke signals We use much more modern technology up here, Heinz bean tins ( better ''coo sticks'' than HP ) and the trusty bit o'string !!! just put the message in the tin and the bin men will deliver it with the rest of the recyclables !!!! Nae problem !!!!

Anyone who has booked a local boat trip through Nostos Travel will have used Mike & Vera's Cosmic services - Rena has used them for a long time.

Aha! So that's probably why they do Roda pick-ups.
