I wonder if this will mean more expensive easyjet flights. At the moment the first seats to sell are cheapest and as more sell the price increases so do Thomas Cook get the first seats and prices start higher automatically?

I think that's exactly what it will mean Elaine, the day next year's flights came out it was £58 per person to fly out in June compared to £40 ish last year, plus it will mean less seats in total, better book early or face the consequences. I don't see any benefits for independent travellers, or am I being too cynical ? pete.

I think that's you and me both Pete and you can be sure Thomas Cook wont be charging cheaper prices in view of the merger...
