Good morning from a glouriously sunny Roda, it really is a pleasure to have some decent weather after the rubbish U.K. summer. We had a good flight down arriving a little bit earlier than scheduled, we were in Pipitsa's by 22:30 & in Crusoes not long after ! Saw Mary & Tommy - Majorminor - the first night and already there are lots of familiar faces knocking around. We ate at Niko's last night where Yiannis is now at university in Athens studying economics, after that it was a stroll around the triangle followed by second prize in the quiz at Crusoes. Time for breakfast now then grab a sunbed on the beach which is looking even wider than it did in June. pete.

Well folks, that was hard work, I've been lying on the beach all day soaking up the sun following a free breakfast after last nights quiz, it's a hard life but someones got to do it ! Lovely meal in Roda Park last night, Costas & Yiannis were in fine form, the banter was non stop. Think we're going to Roxannes tonight then off to see Rena to book a couple of trips. Just missed Tommo at lunchtime, no doubt our paths will cross at sometime, think a little siesta is called for after today's exertions, after all it is Saturday night coming up. pete.

Loving the onsite reports Pete. Helping us count down to when we are back. Even our youngest has asked to come out with us now because we talk about Roda so much. (providing his and hubbys passport come in time as I forgot to send off for them and remembered last week ) Might just be me and the eldest son

Kalimera from a sun drenched Roda, once again there's not a cloud in the sky & it's looking like it's going to be another scorcher as we await Kaz's and pedro747's arrival. Met Tommo yesterday while watching the football, he's only been here a couple of days and he's already talking about booking for next year - what is it about this place ? No sunset photos this time but the rising of a very full orange coloured moon over the foothills was spectacular, just hoping the pictures come out well. Free breakfast time now, that's 2 wins & 2 second places out of four nights, although debbie takes the credit for winning last night's music quiz. pete.

Whew it's been another scorcher but there's a fair bit of light cloud moving in now. Spent a pleasant night in the company of Sean & Wendy (Tommo) who have already fallen in love with the place. Ended up with the free breakfasts again but only because the man who won the quiz asked if we wanted to swap for the free cocktails, still, a wins a win however you get it. Didn't see Kaz last night but I know she had to be up all night before her flight from the U.K., I'm sure I'll see her tonight. Although a lot of the visiters went home yesterday there were plenty of pale bodies about today so hopefully things will still be busy for a bit longer. Saw young Spiro & Eva today, can't believe how much they've grown since june - it must be all this sunshine. Siesta time now I think, pete.

There was a good turn out at Theo's for the F.G.T. with 10 of us sat around having a good old natter. By the time we left quite a bit of thick cloud had blown in so we've been up to our plot of land with the man who is going to cut our olive trees down where the house will be positioned, he's going to do it once it cools down a bit, we also went to look at some storage for our furniture, so by no means a wasted day. Only 4th in the quiz last night, T.V.'s not our best subject & it doesn't hurt to let someone else win now & then. Yiannis is back from Athens where he has enrolled at university & has found somewhere to live, don't think Lucy is looking forward to her little boy leaving in October, pete.
