b****y hell! 3 times to Roda and only eaten in 3 places; one a MEXICAN! Oh well, each to their own! I'll have sampled 4 by the fourth evening! Been back from Alykanas in Zakynthos 6 weeks now; I could murder a kleftiko and a cold Mythos! Two of our faves there! Kleftiko for the wife and the mythos for me! My wife had to admit that i cooked a mean kleftiko last time i tried! Friends of ours came to Roda only a few days ago and ate at El Mar because we recommended it, and have eaten there every night since. But usually I would agree that it would be a different restaurant every night, though we do have our favourites

El Mar & Petrino Steki are a couple of my faves now. But I do love eating in so many places.

We have a couple of favourites i.e. Alexadros (smileys) Alexandros on the beach (Golden Sands) Sunrise up the hill towards Karousades and Stilio's a bit further up the hill but we do try as many new ones each year as we can including some out of the way little villages cant be stuck to the same one every night no adventure the same as we could not go all inclusive to me that's totally boring might as well stay at home !!!

One of the best sofritos around has to be at Five Roses .... what a shame that Giannis was forced to drop 'skartotseta' as no one was ordering it - it was one of the best dishes in the village.
