We are both 24 (she will be 24 while we are here) and are looking for a relaxing and warm holiday! we will have just come back from the opposite in Ibiza! we are staying at the blue gardens. Whats it like? there are some good reviews on trip advisor. How far is it from the centre of town? thanks!

Welcome to the forum deano and fatmax... as you say wherever you stay in Roda you'll have a great holiday. I haven't stayed at Blue Gardens and it depends what you call far... I wouldn't call it far but that's just my opinion as it is out of the village. I'm sure one of the members will be able to fill you in on any details about them. Hope you let us all know when you come back how you enjoyed your holiday and if there's anything else you want to know don't be afraid to ask

Hi 'deano'. Yes, the reports on the Blue Gardens are very good and I completely agree with the responses you've had so far. It's the atmosphere of the place and the genuine welcoming hospitality shown, which makes so many of us return on a regular basis! If I'm right with the location (see map below) then the Blue Garden appartments are situated to the west of the village itself - roughly identified on the map with the blue boundary, known locally as the "Roda Triangle" - which is only about a 0.5km (550yards) walk away. I hope you and your girlfriend have a great holiday in Roda - I'm sure you will. Regards, Chris (IMAGE: COURTESY OF 'GOOGLE EARTH')

You're very welcome 'deano'. I think "stroll" is a much better word - especially with the likely temperatures at the time of year you'll be going! Rgds, Chris

Yes, you will like the stroll down to the village deano.....gives one an appetite !!.plus you get to pop in the bars on the way and see what's going on elsewhere before you reach your final destination ?..........then of course, you have the stroll back and you can do the same thing again !!!!!!have a great time in Roda, I'm sure you will...it draws me back every yr since 1987....so I'm an "old timer",like Ol' Salty ..........
