We won't be able to attend this year Steve as we fly out and back on a Wednesday. We arrive in Corfu about 1.30 lunch time on Weds 23rd May. I'm sure we'll see you out and about and maybe catch up with others in Crusoes or Pirates in the evening. I am marking off the days now - very excited

cheers pete, not to far from us then. looking at the map i stiil can,t recolect much from last visit here , only that there was a shop near to our digs with a young lad called kostas who said he supported liverpool fc and a restaurant with a minah bird in a cage outside

The Minah bird was in a cage outside of Roda Park Restaurant. When it finally died, Kostas joked that it had been served as a dish in the restaurant, but no one has ever owned up to eating it. Any ideas? ....

Steve,
I will unfortunately not be making it out to Roda this summer but my mum and her friends Lorraine and Lil arrived this morning. I have made sure my mum knows where the FGT's are being held. I'm not sure if you're aware of all our news yet Steve but Adam and myself will be getting married on Sunday 12th August and followed at the end of November by our first baby :-)

Nice one Rachael, very pleased for you both, don't forget how child friendly the beach is once your new arrival is old enough to visit. pete.

Hi Rachael - first of all, many congratulations - a big year for you. You did tell me about getting married and the grapevine did the rest. Vodkalil was telling me last week, after seeing you with Maria, that she thought you would make good mum. Of course, you can shout in two languages now! One thing surprises me - with your Corfiot roots, I thought you would honeymoon in Roda! We could have had another panagiri ... Once again, all the best and I'll keep a lookout for the grandmother in waiting. Steve
