Have heard from Eleni, they are opening for the season from today. Can not wait until seated at my favourite table, overlooking Albania, sipping wine and eating Yiannis delicious food. I wish them all the best for the coming season. Bev.

I call Adelaide home though I reside in Sheffield. Originally born in Portsmouth though and was taken to Australia as a 10bob Pom. Bev

Bev Hi Aussiechef, I like Adelaide myself, we stay at the Quest Mansions in the CBD. It is a lovely place, we visited the jail, we visited the Barossa and went to Wolf Blass, we had good fun and will definitely be returning soon, and I forgot the trams are great! I have to ask the question "why aren't you there where life is so much better than here?" I had to ask. Regards, Pegasus.

Number of reasons we now reside in Sheffield Pegasus. It is in some ways very similar to Adelaide (except the weather). We will probably retire to Adelaide but if we had not moved to U.K. we would never have discovered Roda and I would definitely miss it if we returned to Oz. Bev

Hi Aussiechef,
We had a heatwave and the weather topped 48 degrees, it didn't stop us from enjoying Adelaide anyway. I do agree about Roda, it's a place you keep going back to. It is not too english (for want of a better word). We have been going regularly for eight years now. I still think I would be returning to Oz if my home was there as there are some great places that we have visited way out of the way and off the tourist regular things that people do, We have yet to visit Kangaroo Island (is it called) but it was too far and we would have had to take a few days out of our itinerary, and going cellar door tasting was what we wanted to do, but maybe next time.
Regards, Pegasus.

Hi Pegasus, So glad you enjoyed S.A. The Festival State, 48 degrees yes a touch warm ! Shame you didn't get to K.I. next time may be try the McClaren Vale or Clare Valley for cellar door tasting. I sent a PM to Aussiechef still no reply though...Ah Well.
