So, just say, that you all charter a 'plane and come to Roda for Christmas - 250 of you descend upon the village - forget taxis - we'll hire five coaches - it's a little chillier than you are used to, and most places are closed. What would be your ideal schedule for a once-in-a-lifetime Christmas in Roda? For a start, we'd need to find about forty turkeys and a big oven - any other suggestions? Anyone care to make a shopping list & draw up a programme of events?

oh i wish.......... my thoughts as i was signing on was... "i wonder if i was to get a flight to athens and then boat to corfu how much it would cost and how long it would take" .... and in my new job i am off all over christmas (first time in 7 years!) however, news on the family side which stops all plans. My sister Trish will be having a kidney transplant early december (she had renal failure 7/8 years ago) and now my other sister is coming back for christmas too. so no matter how much i dream, i have to be here for christmas. The upside is, Trish couldnt come to corfu due to medical availablity, but once recovered she can go anywhere ..... waheyyyyy!

And since we will all be overthere , we'll just ask Costa to cook one of our favourite recipes for us, so we don't have to do it ourselves....

If the pilot flies low enough, we could do a North Sea 'capture' - just don't get the raisin bread wet! ;D

Do you understand the quaint old English saying - 'that's a cop-out', Petra? It means you should be taking pleasure in cooking Kosta's dishes, not expecting him to do it for you. Anyway, he'll be in Amsterdam eating raisin bread in a brown bar! ;D

All bookings should go to the organiser - the one who suggested this fantastic scheme was LYNDA 101. Come on Lynda - it's only a good idea if you do something about it and, at great personal expense and inconvenience, we'll cancel our flights back as well. ;D Steve

Just had a thought we could stay with nikos and lucy, nikos did say last year that we could stay with them for a year cos he didn't want robert going into hospital to have surgerybut robert needed the op so we came home, what a missed opportunity. So i'm sure he wouldn't mind putting us up for a couple of weeks!!!!!!!!!Failing that we could all chip in and buy paradise village accommodation for all then.
