When the taxi strike was on, to ensure we could get back to the airport, we booked a transfer back with a2b transfers to be on the safe side.
Now we are back in england I thought I would share my experience with you all of this company.
We usually book a taxi transfer, and did this as normal for the outbound journey, so this report comes from someone who is use to the personal 45 minute journey.
The booking process was straight forward with a2b, we booked online and paid £22 for the two of us for a single journey.
We received email confirmation immediately, which contained details of how to obtain our pick up time when in resort~options were via website, email, fax, or phone.
We opted to email lord travel, who is the service provider in corfu. We emailed 48 hours prior to our inbound journey, and received a reply within 5 minutes.
Our flight departed at 1405 and pick up was 920 at the afrodite, this being 15 mins before the thomson pick up for the same flight.
Coach was on time, and was a full sized coach with aircon, it was clean and modern. Journey to the airport was 2 hours. We took the coastal road and made pick ups in acharavi, kassiopi, and ipsos to name a few.
We beat the thomson coach to the airport arriving 2 hours 30mins prior to take off,,and we sought refuge inside the airconned building whilst the tour companies commenced quing outside. We then just sat and waited for the queue to move inside and go down abit before going joining it.
Having now experienced a transfer with a2b we wouldn't hesitate to use them again in corfu, however we would still use the taxis for the outbound journey as we like to get to roda and get our holiday started asap.
