High in the mountains, between Lafki & Strinilas, you come to the limit of where olive trees will thrive. If you look carefully from Roda, you can see the line of this road between two peaks and near the top of the olive line. This is the view back down.

I still remember our first bustransfer from the airport to Roda in 1981, when the "tour" wasn't that comfortable as it is now. Driving through the mountains (Troumpeta) ,very small villages and very (very!!) narrow streets as well. When I first saw this overwhelming (alike) view from the mountains, looking down to the sea and the village, I already felt the island of Kerkyra had something special. Especially Roda , it stayed in my heart ever since.
