Hello everyone
Wonder if anyone could help, i've tried to upload a photo and have got stuck on the paste bit, i know its probably dead simple but i'm a bit of a novice. This is my 1st message on the forum, i've just been browsing for the last few weeks but thought i would take the plunge and introduce myself.

Hi Andrea - thanks for taking the plunge. I am sure that we can sort out the problem for you. I am assuming that you have used Tinypic to start the upload process and reduce the size of your photo. When Tinypic shows you the screen when the photo has been processed, click on the code box for "Forums & message boards". When you click on the code, it is automatically copied. If you have not already done so in the Forum, start a thread in the right section or post a reply to a existing thread. This will open an empty box, as usual. Above the box, and just above the row of different smiley faces, you need to click on the 4th icon from the left. This will give you [/img].[/b] Place your cursor between the 2 sets of brackets and then either "CTRL V" or right click and select "Paste". The code from Tinypic should now be in between the brackets. Add your text where you want it. Preview to make sure that the picture will display and then POST! This should give you the desired results. Let me know if you are still stuck. Julie ;D

Andrea, last friday I had trouble posting photo's by using tinypic too (on another forum), maybe the problem is you "doubleclick" instead of just "one click" And did you stay "logged in" all the time ?? Wish you lots of succes! we are looking forward to your photographs. petra

Hi Andrea, don't give up. I take it you are using "tinypic" ? If you are and you get as far as the screen where your photo appears, right click on the "forums & message boards" box and then click on "copy". When i put a photo on i usually open a new thread on the forum and leave it running in the back ground while "tinypic" is uploading my photo. All you have to do then is bring up your thread, right click on it & select "paste" & your code should appear. Select "preview" to check it & then select "post" Slightly different to Julie's method but it works for me - give it a try & let us know how you go on. pete.

Hi Andrea. As said above, a few moves and it is there. My method. 1. Go to Tinypics at www.tinypics.com2. Click on browse and choose the photo from your album. 3. Click on resize, and choose the Message Board size. 4. Click on Upload Now. 5. Click on the 2nd Links to Share for Forums and Message Boards. This will copy the link for you. 6. Now go to the Roda Online Forum, go to the section you wish to post the photo in and open a post box or new topic box. 7. Place your cursor in the text box, and right click and paste. Your photo address will appear, with the IMG coding either end. 8. Add your text to the post. 9. Click on Preview to check all is in place. 10. Click Post Reply or New Topic. You now have your picture in the thread and forum. Failing that Andrea, email me the photo and I will do it for you. Yeiamas, Chris
