Happy new month! Apart from a couple of stragglers, the last of this year's visitors left Roda last night. Those businesses who will close for the winter will, today, start cleaning up and taking stock before shutting up shop completely. We hope they all have a well-earned break and enjoy some time with their families.
As for those who left last night, we hope they actually got home as the strong southerlies forecast for some days finally arrived. If they took of on time, they probably got home in record time - if not, they could still be in Corfu Town.
This morning is crazy, it is hot and balmy, the wind is swirling around, dust is blowing, leaves are flying - it is quite exciting. I have just had my first November swim at 0900 and I was dry in seconds - it's like being inside a hairdryer!
Time for a breakfast now at Pirate's - more later.

Glad you got back OK hanthorp - they must have squeezed your take-off in between the gales! See you next year.
