Hi all Just signed up today to get an insight into what we can expect in September 2011. Only one problem to resolve and that is not to play Pompey when I'm in Roda - I just hope the league are kind with the fixtures for me! Wifey and I married for over 30-years and yet this is our first visit to any part of Greece. A lot easier now the kids have flown the nest. Hoping for sun, sea and plenty of good living in a relaxed atmosphere of Roda. Bob

Welcome Bob, you will soon be hooked like the rest of us. Cannot guarantee the sun but you are sure to have the sea and plenty of good living - the atmosphere in Roda is so relaxed its almost horizontal! Let us know if we can help with anything else.
regards, Kath.

Greece is quite different from Spain, styorkie - in some respects, it's a bit like Spain was 50 years ago in that we still have mostly family businesses and no high-rise hotels. Here, you will be dealing with the owners and they want to know that you are having a good holiday. You no doubt understand the 'mañana' philosophy, well here the word is ‘ανριο’ (avrio) - it is 'mañana' without the sense of urgency! Steve
