Email Yiannis (Roda Taxis) on the link on Artisan's reply on 11th April & ask confirm with him what his prices would be for a return journey. He's very good at replying to any query that you may have. I assume it'd be the same amount as going to & from the airport - £50 each way.

Hi
We used Roda taxis in May and have booked them for next week, 50 euros each way as Jacks said. Yiannis is very good at responding to e-mails and its great having the taxi waiting there as soon as you land.

Is this for a day visit? If so consider the bus. Less than 8 euros return, air conditioned and just over an hour each way.

Talking of taxis waiting at ther airport, there was a lady here recently whose name is 'Wednesday'. The taxi driver stood there with her name on a board ...... on Tuesday! It caused all sorts of confusion! ;D

I'll speak to Yiannis of Roda Taxis when I get back in April and change his website pricelist if needed. I wouldn't expect much of a change from what exists at the moment. See rodataxi.com/

Hello,
Does anyone know if Alfa or Roda Taxis have minibuses for 14 people, for a daytime transfer to Roda?
Regards
Brian

As far as I am aware, Sidari Travel are the only local company to run a minibus of this size. If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know.

Thanks Steve, Would this be them, do you know? www.sidari.biz/travel_agents.htm - there is a phone number but no email address but I could give them a call. I don't need it until July so there is no rush! Regards Brian

I'm not sure of the best email address for Sidari Travel, Brian, but if you care to join the forum as a member, I can send you a personal message with the telephone number of the driver - he will make all the arrangements for you.

Thanks Steve, I was already a member I was just being lazy last night by not logging in! If you have the number of the driver and his name then that would be great.

Thoroughly recommend a company called SUN TRANSFERS. Used them several times and their service was 1st class There website is www.suntransfers.comApproximate cost for a 16 or 19 seater mini bus/coach with aircon will be about £200 return Airport to Roda & Roda to Airport. Works out about £14 each. They will be waiting at the airport for you with a name card. Tony

Hi Steve, have Roda Taxis indicated their prices for this year? I have had a quote from Alfa Taxis for 53 euro each way.
regards, Kath

Roda Taxi is always cheaper than Alfa, Kath - I saw Yiannis a couple of days ago and forgot to ask, but then he would have said, I think. I would expect the same as last year, but I will remember next time I see him - Mayday at the latest.
