Just a quick report from a very sunny & very hot Roda, it's really good to be back, lots of familiar faces knocking about the village & at first impressions a lot busier than it was in june. Had a drink with Steve last night at Crusoes where we came 2nd in the quiz - not bad for our first night. Off to get some breakfast now then a hard day on the beach ! pete.

Looks like we're in for a change over the next few days, rodalover - this is a seven day forecast - hit the translate button for English. CORFU WEATHERBear in mind there will be NW winds which tend to push any cloudiness south & east. Often the north coast gets the best of the weather in these situations.

Late yesterday afternoon Rick & Sam both took their boats out of the water, Captain George was talking of cancelling today's cruise - word on ther street was that a storm was on it's way. When i looked out of the window at 08.00hrs there were a lot of very dark, very angry clouds over the mountains - guess what ? - an hour later there isn't a cloud in the sky and the sun is cracking the pavements ! Looks like breakfast at Crusoes followed by another hard day on the beach - it's a terrible job but someone has to do it. ;D pete

The Meteo weather forecasting service is predicting winds of up to 39km/h over the next two days, which is why the boats are not operating. The effect is to clear the skies of all the humid air that has been building up and making things less comfortable. Yesterday's visibility was reported as 10km. This was the effect it had on air clarity:

Still a bit breezy this morning but as Steve's photos show the air is so clear it takes your breath away. Normal service was resumed last night Kaz. won the quiz !- off for my free breakfast now then the F.G.T. at Smileys pete.
