Hi,
We are going to Roda for the first time this September, and will be looking to hire some form of transport. Personally I don't mind which, scooter, quad or car are all fine by me.
I wondered if anyone could give me an idea of how much it would cost to hire something for the week. If a car just a small a group one. And if quad must be 250cc to pull me and the other half up the hills. Would prefer a quad, but prices I have seen, seem way out compared to other islands.
Also, has anyone been to Kos/Rhodes and can advise how the roads/drivers compare.
Many Thanks

Hi Kyotesummer, I am trying to contact a friend in Roda about prices for 1 week, but in summertime this is difficult because they are all very busy......but for the time being, I can tell you that hiring a car for 1 day (small car) will probably cost you about 30-35 euro per day (2009 prices), maybe this year prices will be slightly higher because of the new taxes... You could contact Loft rent-a-car (fam. Provatas) yourself to ask about the prices and make reservation : (0030) 26630 64355 (or fax: 0030 26630 64356) Have a nice holiday!! greets, Petra PS:Once you are in the village, you can find the Loft-office where the ATM is, next to the childrens karts ,on the mainroad to the beach. I think Nostos Travel (at the beachfront) also uses Loft cars.

Hi Kyotesummer, we hired a Hyundai Getz from NSK for three days second week in July and was only charged 80E. Hubby over 6' and fitted no problem.
