The new Greek dancers at Smiley's are causing a bit of a stir. Every Wednesday & Saturday the place is packed, with people booking tables in advance to make sure they don't miss out.
On Saturday, the dancers will arrive by boat and dance their way up the beach and into the restaurant. It will be quite a sight.

We went to one of these at Smileys last week and it was great fun. I think the fact that the dancers were setting fire to road outside the restaurant managed to grab a lot of peoples attention We were laughing, imagining what would happen in the UK if this went on with the Health & Safety gurus having heart attacks - after about 10 mins of this the police arrived and we thought ohoh here we go - only for them to have a bit of a laugh with the dancers - tell everyone to enjoy their night and drove off through the flames - only in Roda

Know the feeling rodalover, but a bit of the old shoe shuffle, clap of the hands and a shimmy shake and you will be among the best of them..............have fun

Greeks Nights at Smiley's are still causing a bit of a stir - they seem to be the most popular event in Roda. Last night, they were dancing in the street again.

I have still not been in smileys due to their decision to have someone accost you in the street to drag you in, but for some that isnt a problem, I have however seen the greek dancers at the Mistral, they also dance in the street and I really enjoyed it, so if like me you dont want to be bugged to go in a restaurant try the Mistral, you can always leave before the Karaoke cranks up!

Debbie i agree with your post about people approaching you when passing a restaurant, i had enough of that lark when i went to Turkey and the main reason i have started to come back to Corfu was to avoid the mentioned.
