Greece maybe out of the World Cup as far as football goes, but they are winning in the World Food Cup. This is in association with the Good Food Channel, as a link with the World Cup. Each country taking part is represented by a dish, Mousaka is the choice for Greece, and each match taking place, votes are given on who will win as far as the food score goes. Overall Greece leads the table with 73%, with England in 2nd place with Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding. For more details, see the link below.

Drunken sailor was full of Dutch footballfans tonight, and a lot of other bars and shops had their televisions on as well, even Roda Park restaurant. And esp. for Steve: Holland won!!! the greek tv showed dutch fans celebrating in a big city in holland and they said: "trela panagiria stin olandia"!!!!

Hi Petra - tell Kelly that I wore my orange shorts today as promised. I'll make sure they are clean for the next game.

Am I allowed to say, a great match for Holland. The main three up front played a wonderful game. Who will it be, Spain or Germany. I am hoping Spain.
Apologies if this upsets anyone, nearly over........ ;D ;D

Actually Chris, I am suddenly really into it and supporting Germany - this could perhaps be because my husband told me last night that he had 'Germany' in the sweep at work and if they win he gets £100 which will go straight into the spending pot for 3 weeks time - never thought I'd say this but "Come on Germany" - still wont be watching it though.
regards, Kath.

Woman's intuition, ;D where money is involved ;D. Likewise, I am supporting Spain, as this is the country I drew out in a sweep stake, with a substantial sum if I win.
