Hi tartanannie, welcome to the Forum, lots of advice, info and good 'stuff' to be found here. I'm sure you'll enjoy Roda and the teens, well ..... they'll find their own amusements pretty quickly (whether you like it or not !). Any specifics, just ask, I'm sure you'll get lots of replies.Have fun ..... Johno

Hi tartanannie - as johnofish says, your teenagers will find plenty to do and you couldn't have found a better destination. Most youngsters of that age wander freely, safely, and responsibly around Roda without the need to be chaperoned by their parents. That's why so many families return every year. Hire them a couple of bicycles from Sunriders and tell them when their mealtimes are. Have you looked under Roda Pages at the webpage for Elizabeth? Steve

Yeah, if you're booking trips, do NOT do it with the reps. Go into the village & book there. If you want a decent boat trip, book with George! I'll see if I can find the link to their website.

One place definitely go to Tartanannie..... is the Hydropolis Water Park in Achravi,if you book with Travel Spot(in between Sams Boat hire place and Spiros Supermarket) you won't go wrong. We got picked up there as well. Its just down the lane from the Elizabeth Apartments. We went with our Daughter and her husband and 2 kids aged 11 and 8 and the cost for all inclusive for them was 80 Euros and 44 euros for us and it included transport to the water park. The All Inclusive bit is only on a Monday and Thursday and you can drink Beer/Wine/Soft Drinks and Water all day and the Buffet food was up to restaurant standard, every food you could think of was there and loads of salad and fresh bread. In my opinion the best value for money EVER. Heres a couple of photos of me thinking i'm a 30 year old Unfortunately no photos of the wife as she flatly refused to go down the kamikaze in her wheelchair or any of the other water slides When you get to the Elizabeth Apts say Hi to Kostas/Olga/Helen/Dimitri/little Elizabeth/Dad Dimitri and their dog Zizelle for us from Steve and Linda(wheelchair).

Hi tartanannie, I am sure you all will love Roda. We are returning for the third year in a row on the 5th July. This time the kids are bringing a friend each. Two 18 year old boys and two 16 year old girls!! How old are your two? there are plenty of pools to visit around the village. The beach is lovely and very safe. Pedalos etc available to hire at very reasonable rates. We can't wait to arrive. 27 days and counting.
