hiya, we are visiting from the 3rd of may, could anyone give us a rough guide to the price of eating out?, as we are going self catering, for example, a english breakfast & cup of tea, fish & chips, & maybe a steak etc, hope someone can help, so we can judge how much money to bring with us, thanks

Hi Lisajane, last year a full english breakfast with a brew was 4/5 euros. The price of a main course evening meal can vary from 6/7 to 10/12 euros depending on what you have. There are also numerous places that do take away. I very much doubt that the prices will have risen too much and a general rule of thumb for many visitors is to allow about 100 euros per couple per day spending money. Hope this helps, anything else that you want to know just ask, if the admin team can't answer it, one of our very knowledgeable members will. pete.

Everywhere in the village today, stocks were being ordered. Reps were travelling around taking orders, Roda Park was ordering food supplies, Smileys' are having their drinks delivered tomorrow etc, etc., and only after the next few days will anyone have an accurate idea of what the costs will be. One thing is for certain, any increases will be small and competition will keep everything under control.

;D ;D ;DHappy days Lisajane. Best value in Roda is the Harbour Bar both for breakfast and drinks all day. Crusoes also does good grub during the day and for evening meals you must visit Costas and Voula in the Roda Park. There are also many other good places in Roda. We arrive 11th May - maybe see you about. ;D ;D ;D

Hi Lisajane, in order for me to tell you the best places to eat i would have to name them all, i don't think in all the years i have been going to Roda i have ever had a bad meal. They are all very good and most have an individual dish specific to the restaurant. I am sure you wiil enjoy the food wherever you eat and value for money is guaranteed.

Hi Lisajane, as Threerashers said it's almost impossible to choose between all the tavernas in the village. Best bet, try the lot. You will probobly see me wandering about, daft Joch with long streaked blond(ish) hair (with six women) and a harried look! See ya MONDAY!!!!!

Agree with threerashers & johnofish....Try them all - or at least as many as you can. You'll not get a bad meal.
