If you like large portions of well cooked traditional english food, then this is the place to go, the breakfasts have got to be the best in town & Maggie is one of the loveliest people it has been my pleasure to meet. pete. p.s. - Save me a trifle for 8th June please Maggie. xxx

I love going to maggies her food is great especially her currys and trifle.maggie and des are lovely they would do anything for you.

Maggie does the best fish and chips ive ever tasted. I ordered medium and was asked 'are you sure you will eat that, its quite big' so i went for small and even that was too big for me to finish......and i can eat!!!! ;D The batter on the fish was delicious it reminded me of the homemade fish and chips that my nan used to make

Likewise Tracy.....I had the 'small' fish and chips and it would have fed a family of four.....absolutely delicious. I was so full afterwards it was a struggle to get a drink down....shame!!!! Well done Maggie for keeping me 'sober'
