i have done this before....but i have been lucky and always got decent flight times....
however i am about to book our flights for next may, but they land at 5.05 in the morning....
so my calculation is by the time we collect luggage and get to roda it will be about 6.30am, and i don't really want to wait until 14.00 to be able to check ina nd get rid of my luggage...
so i wondered if we book the room from 14.00 on the day we leave england, would they hold that open for us as long as we had paid upfront, so that we can go straight to our room upon arrival?
our plan is to do the same on the day of departure as we don't fly until 6.05am, so we don;t want to lose our room at 11.00 (this i have done before so i have no qualms there of booking an extra night).
i can't believe that even with private taxis, and booking rooms for an extra day i have secured our holiday for less than what davinia and i paid 18 months ago on a package holiday to roda!!!

Hi again Becky, i'm sure that if you phone the hotel as soon as it opens next year they will understand what you want to do, both Spiros the owner & Anna on reception (which is manned 24/7) speak very good english. The phone number should be on their website. pete.

Hi Beckie As far as we know, you check into your room when you arrive. There is not a system of waiting until a certain time in the day when everyone can check in. So, no need to book it from the day before. If you arrive at 0630, then you will have access to it then. The departure day is often more of a problem. You may be able to hold the room for a few hours more or if you are lucky, until you leave. Certainly in the independent apartments, it is usual that you have access until you leave, depending on when the next people are due. In a hotel, it is probably not so straight forward and you will have to check once you are here.
