We stayed at the Theodoros & Fiona Apartments in September 2008. Thought id write a short review for anyone who is thinking of staying there.
The apartments are quite basic, but very very clean, with reasonable cooking facilities (2 electric rings for cooking and a combi microwave, plus basic cooking utensils)
Our room was to the side of the pool and did not have its own balcony but a shared balcony with 2 other apartments. The 2 other apartments were family apartments which meant there were children running around the balcony. We did not mind this, but if you prefer some privacy then i would suggest that you request a room facing the pool with its own balcony.
The pool area and gardens are immaculate, and the pool bar that you can swim up to is the only one in Roda. We were expecting very loud music to be played around the pool, as this was our experience previously. They played some music during the day but it was never really loud. The evening entertainment was also not what we had experienced before, there was no real evening entertainment which was a bit disappointing, maybe because it was September and our previous visit was in July when it is busier and far more lively.
There is a pool table, table tennis table, internet access, a childrens playground, book swap, and also laundry facilities. The apartments have air conditioning which you can pay extra for if needed which was 7 euros per day, and a safety deposit box which cost 15 euros for 2 weeks.
Theo, Roberto and the family were all extreemely helpful and friendly. The only thing we did not like was the transfer from and to the airport, as it took far longer than it needed to with lots of stops, which in the early hours of the morning is very tiring.
