Hello, I am coming to Roda next week, can anyone tell me if it is possible to hire a car for one day, if not does anyone know the minimum amount of days that i would be able to hire a car for, and approx how much this would cost?
Thanks Tracy

Hi Tracy, There is another rent-a-car that is not on this website yet: Loft carhire owned by the Provatas family. You can find them at the Emporiki bank ATM/ cashmachines, next to the children's "kart" playground. I think their prices start at about 30-35 euros a day,and the longer you rent a car, the cheaper it will be. We even rented a car the last day of our holidays to drive to the airport in the early morning, and I have to say it was the most relaxing end of our holiday I ever experienced. We will ask them to leave a car at the airport next time we fly to Corfu, to have a relaxing start of our next holiday as well. (Steve is it possible for you to draw Loft into the Roda Map as well?)

Hi Miriam, Do you have different prices during high season (compared to low season)? Because my son and brother-in-law paid 30 euros for a car (A cat.) at your business (1 day rent) this summer in july. greetz, Petra

hi petra,
yes we have different prices in july and august but its not big difference.
i dont think that 30 euros is a lot of money for the car in high season. if you try big companies then the prices are more than 50 euros a day for group A, plus you pay extra insurance a day. so its very expensive. here its easy, you just take a car and when you return it back, we dont even check it.

Thought I'd write a msg in this thread as the season is starting again. and for the newbies to Roda and the forum and to them that may not of used dromeas..
THEY ARE THE BEST CAR RENTAL IN CORFU IN MY OPINION YOU GET FULL INSURANCE IN THE PRICE AS WELL AS BREAKDOWN COVER ETC ETC MANY OTHERS IF NOT ALL CHARGE A LOT OF EXTRAS IE: TYRE INSURANCE, UNDER CARRIAGE INSURANCE, BODYWORK ETC.
I know of someone who used a chain company in another part of the island last year and paid £250 for a week and insurance was split into 3 parts costing an extra £50 and 4 euro a day for excess waiver.
so dromeas is in my opinion the best choice.
