If you don’t want to carry those heavy bags with you on your holiday, but prefer to travel light and enjoy the experience, then there is a new service available. With many people using no-frills airlines and lots of us being charged silly amounts for excess baggage as allowances come down, CarryMyLuggage.com believe that they save money for people and offer them a ‘hassle’-free journey. The idea is that the company collects all your luggage from your home and delivers it to your destination before you arrive. They say that you can track your luggage at every stage of its journey and be confident that everything will waiting when you arrive. The alternative, of course, is bring less and have your clothes laundered at ‘Holiday Wash’.

This is just an idea. What if someone was to set up a sort of Left Holiday Luggage business. This is whereby, at the end of your holiday you took your holiday clothes to "Holiday Wash", who then on completion of their business would forward the laundry pack to the "Holiday Luggage" business, who would store in bags until you next holiday.
OK, the ladies are going to say that the clothes they leave behind may not be next years fashion. No problem, invariably holiday clothing lasts for many years in fashion, but one could update, exchange, buy, or whatever on their next visit.
Either way your luggae is much ligher, and as some hand luggage is now upto 7kg, you could carry your needs in the overhead boxes.
"I wonder if I could find a premises to set this up, with franchises around other resorts, ;D ;D "

It's an opportunity for someone, Chris. We know of several accommodation owners who will launder your last day's towels and store a small bag of things, together with beach mats & inflatables. Anyone care to make a business of it?
