I have been to Greece many, many times and have never tried Gyros Pitta!!! Is there anyone in Roda does them - and whose is the best?

Nikos Family Taverna do them at a wee takeaway bit (It is them & not the Roda Park, isn't it? I know it's round about there, anyway.) & Makis has a takeaway that does them. I've had one from there on a few occasions.

We have had a few over the years Lynda & found the best one to be over the crossroads on the left hand side just past the butchers, can't remember the name but I am sure someone will.

I'm the same as Dave - can't remember the name of the grill room by the crossroads. We had two Gyros Pittas & a bottle of retsina there earlier this year - total 4.60 euros.
Don't forget also the excellent food at Roda Bar.Be.Que next door to Oscars.

Everytime I see this thread, I go away craving a gyros. I really could go one, right now! That's a fantastic price - must look that place up, while I'm there.
