Hi bobbiesgirl - Afrodite actually have four rooms they can book independently, or you can try Alexandros, Nino's on the Beach, Nikos Apartments, Eftichia, Christofis, Theodoros (Olympic), Melinda (Thomas Cook), Elizabeth (First Choice), Coral Hotel (Thomson), Pegasus (several), Metallinos, Spiros No1 & Eleni Apartments. Paradise Village is also available, but come back to us on that one. Pipitsa's is a good choice, but we think she is full for your dates. All of these are contactable through the website - any problems, then please ask.

Please believe that there is plenty of accommodation in Roda - what the tour companies and travel agents say is often pure fiction. We will defeintiely find you something, so go ahead with your plans and come back to us if you have a problem.

Hi Steve......i think the main problem is that i cannot find any flights ......well not with TC...First Choice have flights as do Thomsons but they have not got any accommodation showing as available in Roda......maddening really cos as you say..there is plenty of rooms to rent. Didnt really want to go the Peagasus. I have looked at Direct Holidays & Manos...they haven't got flights either

The room was so small, air con xtra. no fridge in room and if you asked for one it was an extra, the b/fast bread n jam we never bothered had b/fast at maggies or Banos.....trying to find something good to say about this hotel.....cant..Just my experience, maybe others have had a better time.? We spent a lot of time at Banos just down the lane.

Hi I know this is straying from the subject Aphrodite Hotel, but I've just returned from a week staying at the Silver Beach and can honestly say it wasn't that bad. Yes, you do have to pay extra for air con etc. and the breakfasts were naff but I always say to myself so long as its clean it will be fine, its only a room to sleep in.

We always stay at the Afroditi, never had any problems but you do pay extra for Air con.....they serve a huge breakfast...Orange juice, coffee, tea, boiled egg, ham, cheese, toasty, roll, cake, always too much for us to consume!!! or you can pay for a fry-up or fresh fruit...........we have also stayed at the Pegasus, very nice there as well, also a good breakfast....Kaz

We too have stayed at the Afrodite and found it to be very pleasant. We were issued with a sea-view room (no extra charge) and it is in a fantastic position, right on the beach. Its two years since we were there but I don't think it will have changed much.
Regarding the AI complex up the road - we used to sit on our balcony watching them all "escape" after they had been there for a couple of days. The selection of bars and tavernas in Roda is so good that I can't understand why anyone would want to go AI in the first place.
We have just booked two weeks at the Panorama (yes, we know its basic, but its central, clean and has a decent pool). We booked through Travel Republic and the total cost (incl flights) was £500 for the two of us. Now we don't think that is too bad, considering that our last trip to Corfu (only 6 weeks ago) cost us £540 just for the flights! We are going in two weeks and can't wait! See you all there xxx

No it didn't include transfers (which we wouldn't use even if it did because I hate the transfer with a passion)
We are going to book a one way taxi with Alfa (45 euros) and hire a car for the last three days, and on the fourth day take it and drop it off at the airport (90 euros) so its still not too bad. Can't wait!

we came back from roda on Friday and I must say that it was nice seeing the pubs and restaraunts busy, we stayed at the afrodite half board, even thou what they offered for evening meals were nice what we found that some of the food was not to our liking ,so we did eat out every night , the only problem we had with the hotel was not enough plug sockets in the room we only had 1 ,simply not enough when you have phones and ipads to charge , I do think that in this technology age they should think about putting more in , we were on the ground floor right next to the pool and we did find that it was noisy , we have had a room on the upper levels and wasn't bothered with noise ,but saying that it wouldn`t put us off booking there again

We checked yesterday in GP Family Supermarket, just across the road from the Afroditi Hotel, and a three-socket extension lead costs €5.80. Alternatively, why not buy one in the UK and make this part of your travel accessories - most of us already bring adaptors. The use of rechargeable appliances is advancing far more quickly than the ability of hotel owners to rewire their premises.
