I would like to say I am very impressed with the fast response from Yiannis at Roda Taxis to confirm our pick up from the airport.
I sent him a message through the link on the Roda Pages and received an email within a matter of hours to confirm my booking.
That was the last thing that we needed to sort out and was panicking that we had left it too late (6 weeks before our holiday!!)

Rach Roda taxis can be booked very close to your arrival date, I am often sending booking requests with less than 48 hours until arrival at Corfu! If you do book a very late deal and you would like a taxi then it might be a good idea to telephone Yiannis at Roda Taxis. You do not need to worry about him not understanding as his English is very good and he may even ask you to text through the details to him. His telephone number is (0030) 6945 473 128 Otherwise email at rodataxi@yahoo.com or use the Roda Taxi Contact Form

There's no harm in trying to contact them now Becky - it might take a few days for them to reply at this time of year, but it won't cost you anything untill you actually get into the taxi. pete.

Just a quick question? Would the taxis take 4 people & 4 cases? Just wondering if they're big enough. I know the boots tend to be quite big, but it's just a thought I'm having....

We usually e-mail Yiannis at Roda Taxis in the New Year to arrange a pick up at the airport. Can't fault Roda Taxis at all. But due to health reasons we might mot be coming at all

Hi Beckie Yiannis checks his emails for Roda Taxis most days, and is pretty organised, so if you wanted to contact him this early for your taxi booking, then it will not be a problem. On the other hand, you could wait until the new year without worrying that there will be a shortage of taxis. Julie

Hi Jackie I know that Yiannis tries to ensure that the cars he has for Roda Taxis are all suitable for 4 passengers with lugguage, as that is what the cars are licenced to take. We know that the drivers are pretty good at jigsaw puzzles and pretty nifty with a bit of rope to secure the boot if necessary! We have not had a problem with our lugguage, the wheelchair and extras, computers and hand-lugguage Julie

Cheers, Julie! I had a feeling they'd manage to fit us all in, if they try hard enough!

You're far better using the Roda taxi companies, cos they can take you to the door of the apartment, without even having to ask you where they are.
They're the best way to go!

Roda taxi's BRILLIANT company used them many a time, last year four adults all the luggage in the boot with lid tied down no problem. We have also had three aduts two grandchildren in car seats all the luggage and push chair in the boot. Nothing is to much trouble for them.

we have booked our taxis now with Yianis, the price for 2010 is 45 euros each way.
we even got a separate email to wish us a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, which we thought was a lovely touch!

That's Yiannis for you, Becks - he may be in business, but he is totally dedicated to Roda and a perfect gentleman. He hasn't discussed the 2010 service with us yet, but they did have that meeting at 'Roundabout Bar' and we will be meeting Yianni next week to find out.
