Hi, can anyone tell me if Roda has any sports bars.
I am travelling to Roda in August 2009 with my wife, son (15) and daughter (11).
My son and I like to have a bit of time on our own playing pool etc. It would be nice to know the best places before we arrive !!!

As you will see from the replies there are several pool tables around the village, there is even one outside at Makis Apartments, so you can play in the sunshine! There is, next to the Drunken Sailor Bar-Club a games centre, with games machines, I think a pool table, electronic games etc. Is there anything else that you would require from a "Sports Bar"? Julie

from someone who is in stereotype age for sports bars i think roda is good that it doesnt as such have one but has bars that are similar but aimed at all ages . Most bars show uk sky etc and like has been mentioned drunken sailor and others have pool tables etc. Drunken is probs the best bet for guaranteed sport from what i noticed. alex the onwer and some of the staff are big footy fans.

This is where I will miss Big Bens, when me and Vicky lived in Roda we always used to go there to watch football. Yiannis had a few different channels on, I'd be watching a 'decent' football match and Vicky would be looking at the updates at the bottom of the screen in the hope that Cambridge United might actually win a game!! lol

Kostas at Mistral bar can have at least 4 different sports channels on at the same time, he'll ask what you want to watch and then show you the best place to sit. pete.
