Hi Jackie - we have never bought 'Skin so Soft' so I can't tell you if it is necessary or not. It is recognised as the treatment used by the SAS, I guess it is used just as it comes. We use lavendar oil with Avon 'dry oil body spray' and there are agents in Roda. Alternatively, you can use an oil-based facial tonic which is available at most supermarkets. A few drops of lavendar oil in the bottle is plenty.

The Skin So Soft is a dry oil spray too.
Think I might add a bit of oil, just for EXTRA protection! lol
Bet the wee blighters, STILL get me! lmao!

I usually get quite a few bites....this year I just used Avon's Skin So Soft dry oil body spray in July and I only got bitten twice on the next to last day of my hol.....which I zapped with a "Zapperclick".
It worked a treat.......

We used the skin so soft with a few drops of lavender oil last year. We still got bitten but probably not as much as normal.

Hi Kaz. I bought it in a store called 'Home Bargains'....think it was only about £1.99 and it really was great.....just need about 4-5 clicks and I never scratched at all.....it took all the itchiness out of the bites, 'cos usually they drive me mad. My daughter Kerry (kezzer) wouldn't use it......(coward, lol).....thought she was going to get an electric shock (lmao).....but honestly it was less than a pin prick, I for one will never be without it again I think possibly Boots or Superdrug may sell them......can't be certain, but worth a look. Hope you have a great holiday

Got my Zapperclick - and I'm afraid that I turned into Kezzer. I just couldn't do it, in case it was really painful. So I gave it to my mum & stuck out my arm, and shut my eyes & told her to go ahead & do it. So she done it & I was like "Is THAT it?!?!?" You can hardly feel it.
Kezzer, you should give it a try, for next time. Honestly, it's fine!

Awwww....bless ya, honey!
Honest, you should have seen me & my mum standing in the middle of our kitchen, holding it to ourselves, then pulling it away, cos we didn't know what to expect.
But HONEST, you should try it. It's not painful.
