Not only can you get fresh eggs from Christofis, but George and Pauline have their own bees. This beautiful honey is not available in the shops - yet! If you want some, then see Pauline.

Kalimera Julie & Steve, excuse my ignorance but where do I find Pauline, don't know all the locals yet, must have some of that honey, mmmm Joolsd x Hi Jools Pauline & George own Christofis apartments - they are along the main street, just before the start of the new shops if you are walking towards the sea. Go down the side of the old restaurant and you'll come to a courtyard. Go upstairs, their apartment is on the right hand side. Have a look at the Roda Map

Oh Jackie you must go to see them.......they are a lovely couple, sooooooo friendly.
Kerry and I called in last month when we were doing a bit of shopping and ended up in their lounge having a good old natter and supping home made wine.....Mmmmm, Yummmmmmmmy.
Consequently the shopping went totally awry.....

Just for the record, Jackie, 'Christofis' are the apartments between 'Drunken Sailor' and the new shop 'Penelopi'. Go to the end of the beautiful courtyard and upstairs to Pauline's apartment.

Probably the best time to catch us is about 5 ish - (also a good time to try the wine!). Today we've just taken more honey to fill a few more jars and will also put in a piece of honeycomb. Look forward to meeting you.

lol Well, look out for me from the 31st onwards, Pauline. I'll definitely be round to see you, for some of the gorgeous honey to bring home. I'll be the one walking around the Christofis, looking lost! lol I can almost taste it, actually!

Remember this? "Not only can you get fresh eggs from Christofis, but George and Pauline have their own bees. This beautiful honey is not available in the shops - yet! If you want some, then see Pauline."Don't forget to get some Roda Honey this year, and the good news is Jean, you can now buy George's beautiful wine for 3 euros per litre. This is the real thing - home-produced, and using methods that Greece exported to the rest of the world. If any local people visit this thread, George & Pauline are currently selling a range of bedding plants, grown in their own nursery, starting at just 30 cents per plant. Christofis -is next to the Drunken Sailor and opposite Thalasea Restaurant.
